Freeport Citywide 50/50 Raises Funds for Community
September 15, 2020 Greater Freeport Partnership

Freeport – The Freeport Noon Kiwanis, Lincoln-Douglas Kiwanis and the Greater Freeport Partnership are working together to bring the community the chance to win a hefty prize with the 2020 Freeport Citywide 50/50.

Tickets are only $1 each and will be sold through November 22.  Sales had just started and then the pandemic hit, but ticket sales have resumed and are available in multiple locations where you may already frequent.

“Due to a disruption in our normal sales timeframe, we have moved back our drawing date to November 22. We encourage everyone to purchase their tickets as the prize pot continues to grow!” said Katie Gentz, event coordinator at the Greater Freeport Partnership.

Tickets can be purchased from any Kiwanis member, the Greater Freeport Partnership office, Stephenson County Visitor Center, Rite-Way Furniture, Beltline Café, Cub Foods and Sullivan’s Foods in Freeport.

Last year’s winner took home $4,000 after her name was drawn. Proceeds from the event are split between the partnering agencies for social service and beautification purposes.
