46 sites with electrical and water hookups, 70 permanent sites, and tent sites. Sewer hookups when available. Two bath houses with flush toilets and showers, beach swimming, restaurant, and playground. Pets on a leash and campfires allowed. Plus fishing and activities on holiday weekends. Rates: Camper Sites: $30; Tent Sites: $15 (rates are for 2 adults, 4 children age 17 and under).

Lake Le-Aqua-Na State Park Campground

Open: (Temporarily Closed for Renovation. Check back in 2021)
This family-oriented campground in the state park offers 183 camping sites; electrical hook-up at 132 sites. 12 hydrants for water. Trailer dump station, flush toilets, and showers (open May 1 to October 31). Equestrian campground and trails (open April 15 to November 15 weather permitting). Pets and campfires allowed; alcoholic beverages prohibited. Rates: Electric Sites: $20 (Non-Holiday Weekends); $30 (Holiday Weekends – Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day); Non-Electric Sites: $10. Illinois residents 62 and over: $5 discount Monday thru Thursday.

Lena KOA

Open: April 1 to November 1
Voted one of the best KOA’s in the US, this friendly, quiet, and relaxing rural setting offers 4 log cottages with shower baths, kitchenettes, fireplaces and air-conditioning; one is wheelchair accessible. 6 cabins with heat and air-conditioning. A camping kitchen, a large gazebo with cooktops, electric grill and sinks with hot and cold running water, is available. This scenic camping area offers nine sites with electrical and water hookups, one dump station, and a shelter house. Pets, recreational vehicles (30′ maximum length) and campfires allowed. Maximum stay 6 days. Rates Per Day: Water/Electric: $5; With Air Conditioning: $6; Tents: $3.
