November 17, 2020 Nicole

The Stephenson County Visitor Center will host the annual Holiday Gift Show beginning on Friday, November 20 at their location, 4596 US Highway 20, Freeport.

The Holiday Gift Show features a juried selection of local vendors selling jewelry, art, holiday décor, bags and other fantastic gift ideas. The visitor center is also a wonderful destination to search for local souvenirs for friends or family who need a taste or look to remind them of home.

This year’s show includes 16 local craft vendors as well as displays from local merchants and businesses. The show is open for purchases during normal visitor center hours: Monday-Saturday 9 am – 5 pm and Sunday from noon – 5 pm. The Holiday Gift Show will remain on the floor of the visitor center from November 20 – January 10, 2021. Masks are required and social distance guidelines will be enforced to adhere to all health and safety standards.

“The Holiday Gift Show is one of our favorite times of the year at the visitor center!” said Nicole Haas, brand director at the Greater Freeport Partnership that manages the visitor center. “We are in awe of the amazing talent of our local vendors and all that they showcase for sale each year. Not only are their great gift ideas, but you find these things to keep for yourself, too!”

The visitor center is decorated in full holiday splendor so all visitors are immediately in the mood to shop for all of the gifts they have been searching for.
