You don’t have to be in marketing to understand that it is increasingly difficult to get your message out! Additional social and media channels, homogeneous algorithms, and the expense of advertising make reaching customers a challenging endeavor.
The Partnership has recently upgraded our customer management software (CMS) and with it, the opportunities for our members to utilize tools within the system for increased reach at no cost. To login for the first time, email business@greaterfreeport.com to request your username and password. Once you are logged in, ensure that all personal and organizational information is complete and up to date. Post your open positions in the Job Posting section. Register for upcoming events. Both members and non-members can add events to our community events calendar. The information provided through this portal is reflected in the member directory on our web site as well as on the Partnership’s mobile app. Your information is vitally important!
Additionally, the Partnership is adding a new feature to help promote local events! While our weekly digital events guide published every Thursday is free, there are so many other ways that the Partnership can help promote your event on social media, TV, radio, and even help find a photographer for your event. For more information on this program, click here for details.
As much as the Partnership is a vehicle for your advertising messages, we also depend on you to be a voice for our efforts! We recently sent out our second monthly marketing message on February 1 that provided documents and graphics about upcoming events, calendars and our blog on Black History Month activities. We hope that you have found ways to make these resources beneficial for your customers, clients, and employees.
