New Messaging Tools Available to You

New Messaging Tools Available to You
February 14, 2024 Billy George

You don’t have to be in marketing to understand that it is increasingly difficult to get your message out! Additional social and media channels, homogeneous algorithms, and the expense of advertising make reaching customers a challenging endeavor.

The Partnership has recently upgraded our customer management software (CMS) and with it, the opportunities for our members to utilize tools within the system for increased reach at no cost. To login for the first time, email to request your username and password. Once you are logged in, ensure that all personal and organizational information is complete and up to date. Post your open positions in the Job Posting section. Register for upcoming events. Both members and non-members can add events to our community events calendar. The information provided through this portal is reflected in the member directory on our web site as well as on the Partnership’s mobile app. Your information is vitally important!

Additionally, the Partnership is adding a new feature to help promote local events! While our weekly digital events guide published every Thursday is free, there are so many other ways that the Partnership can help promote your event on social media, TV, radio, and even help find a photographer for your event. For more information on this program, click here for details.

As much as the Partnership is a vehicle for your advertising messages, we also depend on you to be a voice for our efforts! We recently sent out our second monthly marketing message on February 1 that provided documents and graphics about upcoming events, calendars and our blog on Black History Month activities. We hope that you have found ways to make these resources beneficial for your customers, clients, and employees.

For those who are looking to learn more about marketing principles, sign up for the marketing session of BASE Camp. The March 12 BASE Camp session specifically focuses on marketing principles including branding, public relations, advertising, and audience analysis. This class is one of the five sessions being offered to Business Academy for Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs (BASE) Camp attendees but can be registered for individually by clicking here.

Researching new ways to reach your customers, shoppers, and clients is continuous work. If you have ideas, suggestions, or want to learn more about our efforts, please reach out!
