In a world where available information compounds almost daily, it is hard to ever consider yourself an expert in any topic. Businesses and industries do their best to stay on top of what most closely affects them and then lean into other sources to fill in these gaps in knowledge.
The resources available to the Partnership are no different. However, because of the collaborative nature of our organization, we interact with and receive information from businesses and associations pertaining to economic development, incentive zones, business changes, grant opportunities, legislative action, and innovative ideas from other communities. It is a lot of information to ingest, but the staff works diligently to connect our local members with the information and opportunities that affect your business through this newsletter, specific emails, and personal phone calls.
You have heard the adage – “it’s not what you know, it’s who you know,” and the Partnership knows all of you! Making the connection between businesses who have a need and an agency or organization that can assist is a large part of what we do. When we spend time listening during networking events, committee meetings, and roundtable discussions, we hear about what matters most to you and then have information to respond to the needs of your business. As you receive information from the Partnership or are asked to provide feedback in the form of a survey or email communication, your response is vital to the value you receive from our organization.
Another great connection we provide around the holidays is the Partnership Cash program. Promoting this shop-local program makes so much sense to our organization! As you look for gifts for your employees, clients, and friends, giving Partnership Cash invites and incentivizes them to shop with our local stores. You are the conduit for people’s spending as they consider where to spend their money. And, as a bonus, you are hopefully providing them with the opportunity to get to know a new location they may not have shopped in before.
The work of the Partnership is most valuable when we know what matters to you. Business visits, survey responses, and general feedback help us to perform our best for your business. When available information is always abundant, help us understand what matters most to you and the Partnership can do what we do best – be a conduit to who and what you need to know.
