We are in the thick of the tourism promotion season and nothing speaks to our potential visitors more than great photos and videos. The Partnership has gone to great lengths this season to capitalize on the beautiful spaces and friendly faces in Freeport and Stephenson County to showcase all there is to see and do.
In July, visual images from the Choose Your Adventure campaign logged over 230,000 impressions on Google with 4,400 people clicking to the web site for more information on planning their stay. Similarly, over 120,000 images and videos have been displayed on Facebook and Instagram with 3,800 converting to the web site.
These fantastic photos and videos attract the attention our area deserves from prospective visitors! Video continues to prove its relevance as platforms such as Tiktok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and Snapchat remain top of mind for those looking to travel or learn about their area.
