What a member is looking for from an organization like the Greater Freeport Partnership is as varied as the businesses who are our members. Start-ups and retail businesses may be looking for promotion, new or emerging leaders are often looking to build a network, a manufacturer may be looking for assistance with expansion, recruiting and developing their workforce, or more.

The Partnership is well suited to addressing these diverse needs because we cover a wide range of skills and areas of expertise amongst our staff. Furthermore, our work puts us in front of other experts that work with and for local businesses. As I often say, if we don’t have the expertise or resources in-house to address your needs, we probably know someone who can!

Because we know that businesses have diverse, overlapping, and changing needs, we find it useful and constructive to talk with companies about their needs. By discussing your needs, we can identify what resources and services can best help your organization.

There are many ways to have these conversations. Whether it is a visit to your business to discuss how things are going, an invitation to a roundtable, or a less formal conversation at a networking or community meeting – all are opportunities for us to connect and learn how we can best work together.

While we try to engage with as many members as possible, we know that we don’t reach everyone as often as we would like. If you are looking for an opportunity or a challenge that you would like some help with, reach out to us. Whether there is specific assistance you desire, or a sounding board for a new idea, we would like to hear from you!
